Hey friends, this post today is brought to you by the popular family app KID CHATTEROO. You may be thinking…wait, this is Kirsten writing this post. Right you are. This is another thing i’m involved with and I can’t wait to share more of it with you. I posted about this during the release and now we have HUGE updates with more featurers. I’ll be doing some fun posts each month about parenting and the joys of creating and capturing awesome moments with our children here on Crafting Chicks. It’s my other passion next to CREATING projects here at Crafting Chicks. If you want to get into your kiddos minds and explore and spark awesome conversations and fun teaching moments, this is perfect for YOU. I created this so app so you and I could have a fun list of questions to ask our kids and have a way to easily record what they say within the app…brilliant right!
You can even share the recordings right from the app…my husband LOVES it when I send him recordings of the kids while he’s at work.
A few screenshots for you visual folk.
Try it out is HERE.
So onto the SUMMER FUN LIST. This is one of the greatest ways to organize Summer. At the top of this post is the list that you can get some great ideas from. I LOVE Summer fun lists because it means that your Summer is much more intentional and filled with creativity and exploration, which i’m all about. It means that you have plans, structure, and OPTIONS. The first time I made this list years ago, my husband was so grateful because he could see all the options we could choose from when we had free time. This has been a tradition in our family for about 6 years now and my kids look forward to it every Summer.
When making up YOUR list consider these things:
- The ages of your KIDS
- Make sure to add a variety of activities: learning, hands-on, indoor, outdoor, creating, stimulating, free-timing, water, non-water, family outings, one-on-one outings, etc.
- Always leave a couple of blank slots for fun things that come up last minute.
- ENJOY!! The word boring will not rear it’s ugly head again.
Above you will find the list of ideas and below is the list that you can download and fill in yourself. This is sized to an 11×14 or 16×20. Since the ratios are the same on the 11×14 and 16×20 (meaning you could shrink or enlarge them and print them at either size without cropping). So go ahead and print your heart out. The download button is below. ENJOY!!!
