Our house needed a little Valentine decor. My kiddos love it when I decorate for the holidays- Here are some wood LOVE blocks I made. I had my husband cut the blocks out of a 2×6. Each block is a different height. The L is 10 inches, O is 8 inches, V is 9 in., and the E is 7 inches. First I painted each block (and sanded the sides a bit). I used digital scrapbooking paper and letters for the word LOVE, but you could do this with any scrapbook paper and cut out letters as well. I then modpodged on the paper-SUPER EASY and fast!
I used some fun ribbon to tie around the sides and on the top-everything looks a little more cute with ribbon right?!
I also added a few sparkly hearts to my chandelier to get a little more festive. I found these at Tai Pan Trading.
& I found this table runner on PotteryBarn Kids website-It is adorable and would be so easy to make…if only I had time! It would go with the bags I made for my kids last year. Maybe next year.

Love the blocks! You did a fab job on them! And I really REALLY like the hearts on the chandelier, too! I keep talking about making cute lil’ paper hearts to hang from the chandeliers here, but haven’t gotten to it yet! So this is inspiring~!

Super cute! Thanks for sharing. I really like the blocks and I’ll have to head over to Tai Pan and see if they have any hearts left.
