My four year old thinks he is a tough guy. And what is more tough than tattoos?
I came across the cutest Halloween images (I know, cute isn’t tough but come on, he’s four) and knew they would make the perfect DIY Halloween Tattoos for my kids!
I have never used tattoo paper before, but picked some up at the craft store. It is different than I was expecting. I thought it would work like the store bought tattoos and I would print with my inkjet printer and apply with water. But that’s not how the stuff I bought works. You do print with your home printer, but then remove the backing and are essentially left with a sticker that you put on the skin. There’s no need to mirror images, and they wash off really easily. Silhouette says you use water to apply their tattoo paper though, so I must not be too crazy.
Check out that beefy arm! If that isn’t tough, I don’t know what is!
The images aren’t available for individual purchase, they are only available through the GIA Club, but you can find them as a Halloween DingBat font and color them yourself.
You can download the ones above (that I filled in) here.
Oh and one more thing….Go visit Brooke at Eighteen25 today. She made a fabulous wreath for Halloween that you have got to see.

That is too cool! I just got the new Cricut Imagine, I bet the tattoo paper will work on it! Can’t wait to try it! Now to find some. 🙂

Ok, those are too cute. I love that. I have a couple of questions. First, what is the GIA club? Second, do you hand color them after you print them or do you color them in a photo editing program? Thanks.

You pay a yearly membership to GIA Club and then you can access her downloads. I colored them in Illustrator before I printed them–I’m not sure what kind of marker you would want to use to color them after printing. Have fun!
