I have said it before and I will say it again – I love personalized decor! I especially love it in my kids rooms. I think that it makes them feel really special when their space is all about them.
I did this word wall on the wall above my daughters daybed. My Kylie Joan & Lily Pearl share a room, so I wanted something that celebrated both of them.
-Different sized pieces of wood (I bought mine already cut in packages at Hobby Lobby)
-Coordinating scrapbook paper
-Vinyl words First, I traced each of the wood pieces onto the back of my paper and cut it. Then I used my spray adheisive(love the stuff) to attach my paper to the wood boards. Be sure to spray both the back of your paper and your wood board so that it will stick really well. Next, I Mod Podged my scrapbook paper on my board. The last thing I did was add my vinyl words to my boards. This was my favorite part. I let my Kylie pick the words that described her and her baby sister. I love that she picked ‘shine’ and ‘sparkle’. So cute!
I printed my vinyl lettering with my awesome Sillhouette. I LOVE it!
I completely enjoy looking at the sweet faces of my gorgeous girls, so I printed some close-up photos of them. I printed them 12×12 at Costco. They do a great job!
I am in love with how it turned out! Simple and sweet.
