**Easy** St. Patrick’s Day Banner :)

The story of this banner is FUNNY.  Jaden, my neighbor who is 12 years old (surfer, cool clothes, totally creative) and is the idol of my young boys ages 6, 5, and 4….came over to my house one day with this darling paper wreath a couple days after Valentine’s day.   He said, “this would be cool for your site.”  We talked it over for a moment, with a smile inside I told him to try and make some shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day since Valentine’s is already over.  He said he would go back and try.  He came back minutes later with these darling shamrocks…..THE BOY IS CREATIVE.  I threw them on a ribbon, and we had a St. Patrick’s Day BANNER, how fun.  I told him we COULD feature these on our site, and he was beyond excited.  So everyone give a big shout out to my Jaden neighbor, who rocks in so many ways :).

SO IF A 12 YEAR-OLD BOY CAN CRAFT UP THIS STORM….YOU CAN TOO.

MY BOYS WITH THE NEIGHBORHOOD IDOL…..JADEN.  THAT BOY IS GOING PLACES.

SUPPLIES:

THIS PICTURE IS PARTIALLY CONFUSING….THOSE STRIPS ARE 8.5″ LENGTHS..

FOLD STRIP INTO A HEART AND STAPLE.

CUT THREE MORE STRIPS.

FOLD ALL FOUR INTO HEARTS AND STAPLE THEM TOGETHER.

USE YOUR TRUSTY HOLE PUNCH AND PUNCH TWO HOLES AT THE TOP AND STRING THE RIBBON THROUGH.

MAKE A WHOLE BUNCH, I HAVE 5 ON MINE.  MAKE 4 LEAF CLOVERS UNTIL YOUR HEART’S CONTENT.

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT.

THANKS JADEN, YOU ARE A CHAMP TO CRAFT WITH MY YOUNG FRIEND ;).

HAPPY EARLY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!!

XO,

KIRSTEN
