Becky’s Bathroom:

Why did you choose this space to make over?

Becky:  We finished this bathroom almost 4 years ago and it has been overlooked when it came to decorating.  I love everything about this bathroom from the floor right up to the paint color.  I wanted to make this room be everything that it could be.  I loved looking at Pottery Barn’s inspiration pictures for bathrooms.  This gave me tons of ideas of what I wanted to do.

What colors would you like to add to your space?

Becky: I love the blue paint I have in here and I want the space to be clean and airy.  I want to add some green and some other shades of blue with maybe a fun pop of a purple.

What do you want to change most in your space?

Becky:  I want this space to be a clean and inviting.  Bathrooms add so much to a house.  Let’s face it, you do need to spend some time in there. ;)

What were some of your favorite key pieces from Pottery Barn?

Why did you choose this space to make over?

Jamie:  This is the first room you see when you walk into my home.  I have never had this room completely finished!  (and we’ve lived in my home for  6 years!:)  I do have something I’m adding…a painted PIANO!  I can’t wait to add my key pieces from Pottery Barn as well! This room has been lacking those key items; lamps, a rug, etc…which make a room feel warm.  I will also share how Pottery Barn’s design studio page helped me along the way.

What colors would you like to add to your space?

Jamie: I want to add shades of blue, silver, with pops of black and white.

What do you want to change most in your space?

Jamie:  I would love this room to be a bit more formal & “fancy.”

What were some of your favorite key pieces from Pottery Barn?

Jamie:

Hayden Zig Zag rug in gray

Antique Mercury Glass Lamp

Malta Lanterns in silver

Chunky Striped Pillow

You can see Jamie’s room reveal on July 25th!

Kirsten:  We have also had our house for 6 years and we haven’t officially finished any part of our bedroom.  I’ve heard that when you move into a new house that it’s smart to do YOUR bedroom first since the parent’s relationship is so vital to the happiness of the home.  Yes, I really haven’t paid attention to that rule so i’ve been very excited to make our LOVE NEST classy, comfortable, and finished.  Pottery Barn is the BEST place for items that will last long and wear well.  I’m looking forward to mixing key Pottery Barn pieces with other pieces.

What colors would you like to add to your space?

Kirsten:  I want to add gray, white, pops of blues, and maybe even orange.

What do you want to change most in your space?

Kirsten:  I want to change the lamps.  I have always felt that they are WAY too small for my nightstands, but haven’t paid much attention to them.  I’ve also always wanted pillows and bedding that all go together.  I have had NO duvet cover for way too long and i’m excited to put it all together.

What were some of your favorite key pieces from Pottery Barn?

Kirsten:

Scroll Tile Rug-Gray

Ruched Voile Duvet Cover & Sham-Gray

Crochet-Trimmed Sham-Gray

Pierce Bedside Lamp

Pocket Watch Clock

You can see Kirsten’s room reveal on July 30th!
