We love being a part of the Riley Blake Design team. They are having a great series this year and sharing inspiration for Quiet Book pages.
I was so excited to share my Cookie Box Quiet Book page design on Riley Blake! I had fun making this little gem…it’s not just any cookie box because these are specialty cookies…LOOK how cute those button cookies are! I’m excited to share with you how I made this!
I chose bright fabrics from Riley Blake…they are so bright and happy…gingham and stripes are my favorite! Kids will love the bright colors and happy patterns.
Fabrics & Sizes used:
Blue gingham square approx. 5 x 5 in
Pink stripe rectangle (box top) 2.5 x 6 in
Metallic material (I had in my craft stash) 5 x 8 in.
I used the baby pom pom trim throughout my pages using hot glue. How cute is that trim!!!!!
Riley Blake’s large buttons are so stinkin’ cute! They are large enough to be the cookies for my quiet book page. I love the assortment of chevron, flower, polka dot and circle shapes. I used sewable velcro to attach the buttons to the metallic material (cookie sheet) and hot glued the other velcro side to the back of each button.
Add some ric rac and pom pom trim to your cookie box…to add color and frill.
Your little ones will love to put the cookies in their cookie box and then back on the tray. Thank you for letting me share my quiet book page with you! So easy and fun to make…can’t wait to make more with these fun, bright colors!
