Thanks For Being Awesome Gift Tag

You know all those awesome people in your life? The ones that didn’t give you a gift, or even bring you dinner, but they’re still awesome! Maybe they saved your bacon and drove carpool when you forgot. Or stopped to chat and brightened your day. Yeah, they’re all around us! So here’s a happy gift tag to give to all those awesome people. It would also make a great gift tag for teachers at the end of the year, just saying… This Thanks For Being Awesome Gift Tag has a lot of colors in it so it will go well with all sorts of gifts. These sock and lip balm combo are going to some friends that kindly watched my kids while I attended Snap Conference. There’s really no other word to describe a mom of 7 who takes on 3 more for a day except AWESOME! When printing from home I recommend printing on matte photo paper for best [Read More…]

Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles

Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles: These fruity treats are the perfect way to cool down on a hot, summer day.

These fruity popsicles are the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day. I don’t know about you but I am super excited for summer to almost be here! If it was up to me we would have summer 9 months out of the year and it would only snow on Christmas Eve. But since that will never happen I’ll just enjoy the weather while I can go. And what better way to enjoy summer than with a nice, cool treat. Last summer our favorite treat were Otter Pops. We got the ones from Costco since they didn’t have high fructose corn syrup. What they still had was artificial colors. And as we quickly learned those artificial colors did a number on my boys. We’ve been working on getting all artificial colors out of our house. I knew as the temperatures started getting warmer my boys would want their favorite summer treats and I just couldn’t give those [Read More…]

Hi guys!  It’s Keri – from Shaken Together!  What have you been up to since I shared these utterly delicious Rocky Road Brownie Bites last month? We had a birthday (how do I have a 15 year old?!), an anniversary and a new job!  It has been so busy and we are definitely counting down the days until school is out!  If your family is anything like ours, the boys are ready to cue the sleeping in, tons of time outside, hanging with friends and fun Summer activities!  Speaking of Summer activities, how about a delicious treat that is a great boredom buster or rainy day activity?! Make a batch of Worms & Dirt Chocolate Bark! DIY Button Push Pins

DIY Button Push Pins

Hey! It’s Kari, from Life PreKARIous. I have been super busy working on my office space lately and I am loving how it’s coming together! The latest edition was this coral frame that I turned into a small cork board. Did you know that coral stain is a thing?! I didn’t until about a week ago and it is amazing! I LOVE it! Of course, I needed some fancy new push pins to go with it, so I made these easy DIY button push pins! Ever since I can remember, my dad has collected buttons… So I raided his stash and picked out a few of my favorites and simply glued a tack to the back of each one. I used epoxy because that is what I had and I wanted to be sure that they would be sturdy since I will probably be using them a lot. Some of the buttons that look like this had to be trimmed on [Read More…]
