With the help of the adorable American Crafts Embellishments, Stickers, Pens, Chalkboard clips, & washi tape, we were able to create the cutest little station.  All of these Items can be found at the Dollar Spot and range from $1-$3….BUT hurry fast and get to the nearest Target…this stuff goes quick! A Healthy Valentine with FREE Printables

Cutie Valentine: A Healthy Treat with FREE Printable

Hey there! I’m Sydney from Tastefully Frugal and I am so excited to be here today sharing one of my (and my boys’) favorite treats. I didn’t really realize it until I had kids and found it much harder to lose that extra ten pounds; but it seems like the winter holidays are all centered around food. Ok, maybe not centered around it, but doesn’t it seem like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day are all filled with warm, delicious, not-so-healthy-for-you foods? No wonder by the time spring comes I have to kick my work-out plan up a notch; the last five months have been spent indulging in a long line of sweet treats. This year I knew I wanted to make a few healthier choices for myself, and my family. The only way to not eat candy and chocolate is to not have those things in the house. You see, I have no will power when it comes to sweets. [Read More…]

Layered Ice Cream Cake

SONY DSC

This post is sponsored by Adobe Voice. This layered ice cream cake is easy to make, but has a lot of steps, so I’m trying something new today. Instead of having a post a mile long with lots of photos and typing, I’ve used Adobe Voice to make it all into a little video. If you have little stories to tell, you might want to try Adobe Voice too. You can download it for free in the app store. Pin It

CREATE Marquee Letters

create

Marquee letters are hot hot hot right now! I’ve tried making them on my own and they were soo time consuming.   Heidi Swapp’s Marquee new line at Michael’s make it so easy. They have every letter, plus some fun shapes.   The line has paper and glitter and washi tape to decorate the letters with.   They come with everything you need. The lights and bulbs and even a tracing template that makes it super easy.   When tracing, flip the template and paper over. Be sure to make the circles.   A regular hole punch is the perfect size. Look how nicely the lights and battery pack tuck in the back and out of site.     I’ve been wanting to add CREATE above my window in my craftroom and these fit perfectly up there! I love the addition to my craft room! Pin It
