Kleenex Teacher Gift Idea with Printable Tag

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Huggies and Kleenex for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don’t know about you, but it seems like I can never have enough Kleenex© Ultra Soft around my house. As a mother of 3 little girls, it seems like someone is always sniffling or sneezing especially when school starts and the germs start to circulate. The Kleenex Ultra Soft Facial Tissues are the best because they are super soft for those sensetive noses. gift-tags-for-teacher   I love to give Kleenex Ultra Soft to our new school teachers each year too, since they are dealing with a lot more sniffles and sneezes then I am on a daily basis. That’s another reason I buy a big pack of Kleenex© Ultra Soft from Sam’s Club. Then I can still have a stockpile at my house and be fine with gifting these. Another time saver is that Sam’s Club offers FREE online Order Pickup so you don’t have to do a ton of shopping if you have little helpers coming with you. So if you are like me and wanting to gift some Kleenex© Ultra Soft I’ve made it super easy with these great tags. Teachers-Printables In order to make this gift just run to your local Sam’s Club, then download and print these tags in color.

I made 2 different color schemes and I used a cardstock weight paper so the tags would hold up a bit. cc_download Kleenex-Teacher-Gift-Idea gift-ideas-for-teachers You could attach the tags with some cute washi tape, or some fun bakers twine like I did. printable-tags-for-teachers Tissue-gift-idea-for-teachers And there you have it. A great gift idea that’s sure to help your teachers and the kids stay a bit healthier this school year.

Photos make me so happy!  I maybe take too many but I love capturing each stage of my little ones.  After a photo shoot, I love to make a Photo Story with some of my favorite photos.   I made this easy photoshop template that you can use too!  You can print any size up to 20 x 20.  I love the ones especially of babies.  You can change the border to black, white or even a color. First download the template below.  (Personal Use Only.  Do not share or sell….copyright Crafting Chicks) When you open the .psd file in Photoshop, and your other photos  (choose 9 of your favorites)…the next steps are easy. Drag a photo onto the file.  You will want to move the picture in your layers bin to just above the square layer you want your photo to be in.  When the photo is directly above that square, hit ctrl g.  That will make the photo [Read More...]

Family Goals with Free Printable

How to Set Family Goals

So I feel pretty lucky to have these amazing people in my life.  They each make my life so much better! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how to raise my girls to have good morals and high self esteem when everything around us seems to want to tear and break people down. Each Monday night our little family gets together and we have Family Home Evening.  Through Pinterest I found a blog, A year of FHE, and Emilie has a lesson titled “Our Family.”  I loved the lesson and found that it was just what I had been searching for as a way to get and keep our family on track. As I was reading through the lesson, I found a list of Family goals and loved them. 1. Have family prayer every night and morning. 2. Teach children the gospel every week in family home evening. 3. Study the scriptures regularly as a family. 4. Do things together as a family, such [Read More...]

Rustic Olive 2×4 Sofa Table

Rustic Olive 2x4 Sofa Table (2) copy

Hello friends! Amanda here with The Contractor Chronicles and I am back today to share a fun little olive sofa table that is so easy to whip up and would look great anywhere in your home! The only tools you need for this project are a miter saw and a drill! You can find the plans for this fun little 2×4 sofa table – complete with shopping list, cut list and break down – here! Spencer and I didn’t have our Kreg Jig yet so we used 3” wood screws and screwed the whole thing together. I was fine with it since I knew we would be painting it and it didn’t matter if I had to use a lot of wood filler. We followed the simple plans and within an hour had a fun and chunky sofa table built and ready for sanding! After I had the whole thing sanded down, I used Minwax cherry stain and stained along [Read More...]

Pineapple Zucchini Sheet Cake

Pineapple Zucchini Sheet Cake

I’m back with another zucchini recipe! The Zucchini Brownies were a huge hit, so I figure I’m not the only one trying to find ways to use up piles of zucchini. There’s not any chocolate in this recipe, but the combination of zucchini, pineapple and coconut closely resembles my husbands favorite carrot cake recipe, so it’s a hit at our house. First, mix together your dry ingredients. Then add the wet ingredients. And stir it all together. With quick recipes like this I prefer to mix by hand instead of pulling out the mixer, anyone else? Once the cake has cooled spread cream cheese frosting on top. I pull out the mixers for this. Print Pineapple Zucchini Sheet Cake Ingredients1 1/2 cup flour 1 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup coconut 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 tsp cinnamon 1/4-1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 pinch ginger 3 TBSP oil 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups grated zucchini 1 (20 [Read More...]

Frozen Yogurt Topping Bar

This post is sponsored by Elmer’s. Topping bars are awesome because they cater to everyone’s tastes! We’ve done a pizza bar, pasta bar, baked potato bar, and hot dog bar before with great success. So when I was planning our dessert for a church activity I knew that I wanted to have a topping bar and frozen yogurt is so popular that I knew it would be a hit! I picked up some toppings and made a chalkboard art sign and it was a hit. I had teenagers oohing and awwing over the fruit even after we ran out of frozen yogurt and the Reese’s they were getting back in line for more blueberries, strawberries and kiwi. So I’m going to count this as a smashing hit. I’ve been a long time admirer of chalkboard art, but I’m not confident enough in my handwriting and proportion skills to every try it on a real chalkboard. Well Elmer’s new chalkboard foam [Read More...]

Scallop Mary Janes

Leather Shoes

Our team picked black and white for our theme in this month’s Cricut DesignSpace Star Challenge. The category is gear or fashion. Since I have a shoe obsessed 2 year old I put it all together and came up with these precious little Scalloped Mary Janes in black and white! You might remember my oohing and aawing over the Cricut’s ability to cut leather in my last challenge project, so of course I kept with the leather on this project. I designed a shoe pattern in Illustrator and imported the .svg into Cricut Design Space. It took a few revisions, but that’s okay cause I started out using paper for the mock-up. Thank goodness because I went through quite a few alterations. How sweet is this! To make things go smoother you’ll want to use a leather needle, and these clips are used for quilt binding-but worked awesome at keeping the leather layers together since pinning won’t work. And velcro [Read More...]
