How many of you out there have kids that love any kind of paper or pens they can get their hands on? Anytime I bring a notebook in my house I have to preface if it is mine, without sharing, or if they can use them. Nine times out of ten I lose the notebook battle right away.
So when I got to try out Graphic Skinz from RoseArt, I knew the best gift I could make would be a fun notebook and pen set. Not only for my girls, but as gifts for their friends. I’m excited to share with you how you and your kids can make your own, or tons of other fun projects.
First off, we opened up the box and I read all the instructions. It is super simple and it comes with projects so you can start right away.
For my notebook, I used a mini composition book. I chose a skin for the front and cut it to fit. You soak the foam in water, ring it out, and wrap around the object you are wanting the skin on. Place in the chamber and push the button. My girls loved that part.
The initial skin was a little short on the bottom so I added another little bit and then added a strip of another skin to give it more contrast. I also decided to wrap a pen with a few strips to see how that went. It was so fun to get creative and see what I could do.
And there you have one happy camper. She’s been begging me to do more.
So tell me, what would you use Graphic Skinz for?
