Send your loved ones some holiday cheer this year with this Free Merry Christmas Card Printable.

Free Merry Christmas Card Printable

Hello there!  It’s Katie from The Casual Craftlete blog.  I am so excited to share in The Crafting Chicks’ Deck The Halls series.  Can you believe that Christmas is almost here?  I can’t and I am certainly not ready either.  I still have an entire list of Christmas gifts to buy.  Plus, the wrapping, decorating, and baking, oh my.  So, I thought I would take the difficulty out of sending cards by creating a Merry Christmas Card Printable.  This is a standard size card that you fold in half and can print on any color of plain cardstock you like.

Free Christmas Printable

Every year I always send out a Christmas cards to our family.  If your family is like ours, we have loved ones who live far away and across the country.  A card is a great way to write the events that have happened to you this past year to keep everyone up to date.  I also include a photograph of my family so they can have a recent picture.  With the busyness of life, it can be hard to keep in touch.  This way of sending snail mail is perfect for the holidays.

Christmas Printable

To download the free printable just click the link below.  I recommended using matte cardstock to print on and kraft cardstock is my favorite.  I think it looks the best with black ink.  This is a standard size card that will fit most envelopes.  Remember, all printables from The Casual Craftlete are for personal use only.

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

One of my favorite things to do for Valentine’s Day dinner is prepare a yummy dessert for my husband.  This year I am going with Homemade Brownies and Mint Chocolate Gelato.  My husband LOVES mint chocolate gelato and I love adding warm homemade brownies to anything.

Here’s the yummy Brownie recipe.

Homemade Brownies and Gelato

Cook time:

Total time:

  • 2 squares of butter or margarine (melted)
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 1½ cups flour
  1. Melt the butter and then add the cocoa.
  2. Stir in 2 cups sugar. Add the eggs 1 at a time. Stir in vanilla and flour.
  3. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan for 30 mins at 350.

I felt like this dessert will give us a new reason to spoon: Breyers Gelato Indulgences. (Get it!?! SPOON!!)

We are always trying to find new desserts for out date nights out and now our at date nights in are going to be even better because we can enjoy this yummy creamy gelato, luscious sauces and gourmet toppings at home.

Another way I took this over the top was designing a fun card for my husband.

I thought this would be perfect for this dessert cause his favorite combo is chocolate and mint.  Mine is anything with chocolate really. But the perfect combo for me is him! If you feel the same about your main squeeze, then download this card and tell them how you feel.

Hello there! I’m Laura from Inspiration for Moms and I am thrilled to be hanging with the Crafting Chicks today! I’m sharing with you an easy gift printable for the theme of twelve drummers drumming. When I think of drummers, I am reminded of one of my favorite Christmas songs…The Little Drummer Boy. So I took that song and combined it with a classic drummer boy silhouette to make a darling Little Drummer Boy Gift Tag.

Little Drummer Boy Printable Gift Tag

These tags are a great way to add a little traditional Christmas to your special gifts. And they’re perfect if you’re up at 2 am wrapping those last minute gifts and need some very creative tags. 😉 See there, I gotcha covered!

To print your own gift tags, just click on the image below and save to your computer. (When you’re ready to print, select 8×10 and two tags should easily fit on one piece of card stock.)

We sure love Jen from Craft-O-Maniac.  She’s super fun and ultra creative.
Hello The Crafting Chick fans, Jen here from
Craft-O-Maniac EEEP! I am thrilled to be here and to talk about a family tradition I have done growing up and still do to this day. I’m talking about “Handmade Christmas Cards.” There is nothing like receiving a handmade with “love” Christmas card. Growing up we would turn on some Christmas music, make hot cocoa, and then gather around our big family table and start making Christmas cards. I love making homemade Christmas cards and love that I am passing it onto my own children. Making handmade Christmas cards is special because you can personalize each and everyone. Plus you can do just about anything you want with them too. I love to give the cards textures and layers as well, it gives them personality.

Its easy to make Christmas cards, just gather up your favorite craft paper, embellishments, and tools and start having some fun.
Here is one of my favorite cards I have made so far this year. I am calling it a “Vintage Santa Card”
Gather up all your favorite card making supplies!

I love it and I know my mom will too. She loves almost anything vintage not to mention a jolly plump santa! winks.
Here is a picture of my most recent Christmas craft, my
I love to meet new people and would love to meet you. You can find me on FB, and Pinterest too!
Thank you so much The Crafting Chicks, you ladies rock.
xo, jen
