Add a pop of color to your decor with these adorable DIY Mini Painted Succulent Pots. An awesome compliment for a Cinco de Mayo party or as a gift idea.
I LOVE succulents. These hearty little plants are so much fun and add a some life to room decor. Once I saw these adorable mini terra cotta pots on Oriental Trading I knew I had to paint them and bring them into the decor for our Cinco de Mayo party.
They are so easy to make and you can paint whatever design you want on these fun little pots. I’ve included affiliate links for your connivence.
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own DIY Mini Painted Succulent Pots.
- Mini Terra Cotta Pots
- Paint in various colors. I used are Royal Fuchsia, Peacock teal, Watermelon Slice, white, Citrus Green, Purple Rain, and Pure Gold.
- Paint brushes
- floral foam
- mini succulents
Paint and decorate your mini terra-cotta pots.
Measure and cut the floral foam to fit inside the pot.
Place your mini succulent inside the pot in the floral foam. You may have to trim the stem to get a snug fit.
Finish with each pot until you are either out of succulents or pots.
As I was putting them together I kept thinking that one was my favorite. Then I’d make another and think that had to be my favorite. I think I just love them all so much!
The colors coordinated perfectly with our Cinco de Mayo party we did for Oriental Trading. Make sure you stop over there to see all the fun ideas.
