SONY DSC Kids love party hats! They can turn the most simple events into full on parties!

Making your own is quick and fun.

First, download template and print on cardstock.

Cut out the hat.

Fold into a cone shape. To make the cone shape, I’ve found that running the hat shape over the edge of a counter gets the curling process started and makes it easier to make a cone.

Then glue the tab into the hat. I like hot glue because it dries fast.

SONY DSC Then decorate however you want. I used the rosette ribbon from Close to My Heart around the bottom. To make the pom pom on top, I used the same rosette ribbon and tied into a loose knot and tucked in the ends to make the ball shape.

And finally glue ribbon or elastic on each side (inside the hat).
