I’m so thrilled to announce the official launch day of my new iphone app called KID CHATTEROO downloadable HERE!!  Yes, I’m a Crafting Chick for life and now I get to add this to my list of fun things to be a part of.

This is what it’s all about:  CONNECTING WITH OUR KIDS!  Let’s be honest as parents we ALL are looking for fun and easy ways to feel that closeness with our kids so we can be better parents.  This new app does just that and my wish this whole time for the two years i’ve worked on this with my small Kid Chatteroo team is that this will be just one more tool in your bag of parenting tricks that helps to strengthen these important relationships, and laugh while doing it.  Please please help us spread the word.

Create your “PEEPS” with the faces in your family * Pick your category to pull your fun questions from (no wrong answers) * Push on the avatar to record these cute little conversations * recordings are stored by child with a time/date stamp * Smile because you captured your KIDS and who they are today, to be enjoyed for years to come

Part of the KID CHATTEROO app description is this:  “Whether you are on a road trip, tucking your child in bed or chatting over the dinner table, Kid Chatteroo questions will spark all sorts of funny, imaginative, inquisitive, and playful conversations that are sure to leave you with that silly, warm, fuzzy feeling! Capture those little voice recordings with our easy-to-use recording feature, it’s like capturing time in a bottle. YEA!”  Check back later this week to see what some of our kids answered to some of the funny questions…SO CUTE!!!

If you like Kid Chatteroo and want to see more apps like this, please write a review & share it with your friends, that would mean THE WORLD to us!!!

With 750,000 apps on the app store, good apps only get noticed this way…THANK YOU THANK YOU!

  1. Congratulations! This looks awesome…what a great idea 🙂
I’ll have to give it a try!

  2. Is there a way to delete recordings? Also, there are only 4 boy outfits and 4 boy hairstyles. Can’t find the stuff for girls. I wish it was a little more user friendly for little kids. I don’t see my kindergartner doing this on his own. (He loves to make videos of himself.) It would be cool if it had a voice asking the questions but I guess that’s what encourages the parent to do it with the child, right? Please LMK about the girl stuff. Thanks! I love the questions!

    • Karen,
That’s so strange that the girl things aren’t showing up. I would try uploading the app to your itunes account then deleting it off your phone then reinstalling it. We haven’t had that problem when we have tested it on multiple devices. I hope that works, let me know. Also, it’s really an app for parents to do with the kids instead of alone, but as they learn to read, they could do it by themselves. YES, my kids love to do videos of themselves as well and YES I’m super glad you love the questions, they really elicit some fun reactions! XOXO, Kirsten

      • Hey friend!
When you are choosing the boy or the girl, slide the whole puppet image over (when first creating your peep) and that is where the girl is 🙂 You can also create another PEEP and do that from the start and create the girl! 🙂

    • Also, to delete the recordings you just hold down the face and re-record, it’s super easy. We have some fun updates coming up that will streamline that 😉 Have fun with it!! Thanks so your interest and good questions!

  5. Congrats! This sounds like a fun app and I’m super excited to try it out. Kudos to you for putting this together.

  6. Thanks Kirsten! I did what you said and then found out I had to slide the boy over to get to the girl stuff so maybe it was working before and I just didn’t know I was supposed to “slide”. Thanks for the note on deleting recordings! Love, love, love the fun questions – totally worth the money! 🙂

  7. I was very excited about this App…something I could do with my grandkids. I am having a terrible time with this. I too can only get boy hair and clothes to show and I did what Karen said and tried to slide the boy over. All I get are “drawers that open and cannot get anything else. I also went to my granddaughters name (in the Peeps closet) and then to her recordings. It says there are 3 there but nothing plays and her face is not at the bottom to record over or delete. What in the world am I doing wrong

Thank you for this awesome app! I have to tell you, this is the first app I’ve been willing to actually pay for. Also, it gave me an idea for an app with a similar premise. I will email you my idea and maybe you could develope it! 😉 Thanks again, me and my kids love it!
