The McCormick Kitchens have many wonderful recipes and tips. I was inspired by the Double Chocolate Chunk Orange Cookies to bring you this yummy Orange and Cream Cookie! These are sweet with that orange tang to them. I loved them and can’t wait to share the recipe with you!
Orange Cream Cookies
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 firmly packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 teaspoons orange extract tablespoons orange zest 2 cups Vanilla Chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and creamy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and orange extract until smooth. Gradually add flour mixture until combined. Stir in orange zest and chips.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 – 10 minutes or until golden brown around edges. Cool for several minutes on cookie sheets before transferring to rack to cool completely. Store in airtight container.
There you have it! Yummy Orange Cream Cookies! Just ready for the Bake Sale.

My favorite treat I ever bought from a bake sale were mini brownie muffins with chocolate chip cookie dough bites in the middle. My fave recipe from this virtual bake sale would probably be the Triple Chip Crownies, but I must make them all and taste them first. That would be only fair, lol!
