I whipped up this little shirt over the weekend, and boy is their heat transfer paper fun to use! It took me a bit to figure out, but now that I have the hang of it I may just give up my freezer paper screen printing altogether! It was instant gratification-none of this waiting for the paint to dry stuff. Just cut, iron and done!

  1. I’m new to the silhouette world and haven’t yet tried the heat transfer paper. can you tell me how long is lasts once you washed the clothes? Thanks!

    • I’m curious to see how long it lasts too! I haven’t washed it yet, so I’ll let you know when I find out myself. My son kept picking at the letters and lion while he was wearing the shirt–and so far so good so I guess that’s a good sign!

That turned out great! I would LOVE to be able to make my own t-shirts!!

  3. It always looks adorable.. until the first wash. It never irons down properly, takes me forever! And never lasts past the first wash. Silhouette’s heat transfer is a total waste of money!
