EEK!  We are so excited for today’s guest post! Jessica Sprague is our Photoshop hero and she’s sharing a super cute project, complete with a free download just in time for Valentine’s!

Hello Crafting Chicks! I am Jessica Sprague and I am so excited to be here today to share with you an adorable Valentine’s Day banner that I designed just for you. Click here to download a zip file which includes the printables for the project and a full color PDF of the instructions and some extra display options. You’ll have to unzip the file after it is downloaded.

First, gather up all of your supplies, don’t worry – you won’t need anything fancy.
• Premium Presentation Paper (PPP) or Cardstock
• Color Printer
• Cutting Board
• Scissors
• Foam Adhesive
• Tape Runner
• 1 1/2” Circle Punch
• Baker’s Twine

Second, print off 4 copies of the banner and one copy of the banner letters onto 8.5 x 11 PPP or cardstock.

Next comes all of the trimming and punching. Using a 1 1/2” circle punch, punch out the letters for the banner.

trimming-punching-4 Using your trimmer, trim the banners from each printout and finally, use your scissors to trim around the tabs of each banner.

Now here is the fun part – assembly! Place the dimensional foam adhesive on the back of each letter and adhere each letter to a pennant. Fold each tab down and adhere the back with tape runner or glue. You could also use brads to adhere the tabs to the back of the pennant or cut the tabs and sew the pennants together.String your pennants on bakers twine and you’re done!

I hope that you enjoy making this banner and it brings some Valentiney Love into your home!

Check back tomorrow for a chance to win a seat in Jessica’s new Photoshop class!
