We’re back with another “episode” of The Crafting Chicks Picks–where twice a month we share some favorite tips, products, foods, traditions, etc. with you so you can get to know us better and maybe get some fun ideas in the process! I don’t know about you, but sometimes it’s hard to make the effort to date your spouse once you’ve been married for quite a few years! But it’s important to spend some one-on-one time with your main squeeze to keep the love alive! So we thought we’d share some of our favorite simple date ideas and places to go (mostly in Utah) today. Hopefully they’ll help give you a spark to make some fun plans this weekend.
**We are not paid for any of these “Picks”, we’re just sharing things we like!**
Becky likes to go to Roosters: “You can’t go wrong there!”
Ruth’s Chris: “For a nice quite dinner out.”
Basketball Game: “Our first date was to an Aggie basketball game and we’re still cheering for them!”
Tsunami: “My hubs and I like to eat sushi together so this is one of our go-to restaurants. We share different sushi rolls and usually get teriyaki salmon too! YUM.”
iFly Indoor Skydiving: ” We went on a date here once with some friends and it was a riot! Adventure in a wind tunnel without me having to overcome my fear of jumping out of an airplane. Win-win!”
Concerts: “We’ve also been to several concerts which have been really fun dates! One of our favorites was definitely Coldplay, and we like going to outdoor concerts in the summer. We really enjoy music together!”
“Our favorite thing to do is to go to downtown Salt Lake City and just window shop at either City Creekor the Gateway, the two outdoor malls :). There’s just something fun about walking around with no particular plans that we both really enjoy. If we are going to dinner, and mind you, we don’t go here super often because of the price, but we LOVE SUSHI! Is anyone else a gigantic sushi fan? We sure are and we seem to have the best conversations over sushi, call us giant nerds, but we LOVE it. Our favorite middle of the road sushi place is SUSHI YA. They have all you can eat for $19 a person and it’s FAB. Althought it’s not the highest notch sushi bar, we feel like it’s the best bang for the buck :).”
What are your favorite date ideas? We’d love to hear them!
