12 Days of Christmas Gift Ideas – Perfect for Friends
Do you have a friend or loved one that could use some extra care this holiday season? Celebrate them with 12 Days of Christmas Gift Ideas.
One of our favorite Christmas ideas is the 12 days of Christmas. My family has done this tradition for years for widowers, friends with health issues, and anyone else we think might need a pick me up during the holiday season. They will get a little gift each day for 12 days straight. We love to find someone who could use a little extra love this Christmas season.
You can do this tradition on December 13 through to Christmas day. Or start on Christmas day and leave a gift for the next 12 days after. Either way, you are showing extra love to someone in need.
No need to sing the carol or worry about the lyrics for these gifts. We have made these ideas so easy but also fun to give and receive. Our idea list is a recipe for success.

After cutting out the numbers, you can tape or glue them to your packages.

**When we first made these gifts, we used product from Heidi Swapp. A lot of it isn’t available anymore, but I found other links that would be helpful.
Day 1:
No partridge in a pear tree for this first day of Christmas gift. We wrapped up our favorite treat. Cadburry Mini’s for Christmas wrapped up in this pretty gold polka dot box.
Day 2:
On the second day of Christmas …
Turtle Doves might be cute, but we decided to give Cuties! We love these oranges and had to share in a striped box.
Day 3:
A gift card to a favorite store in this cute package. Most would like this better than 3 french hens for the third day.
Day 4:
A sweet mug with delicious Hot cocoa mix wrapped up in this striped mini stocking. Who wouldn’t love this more than calling birds?
Day 5:
A mini stocking filled with a favorite candy bar or a nice piece of candy. It isn’t golden rings, but I think giving chocolate is pretty close.
Day 6:
A warm head wrap or head band tied up with a cute tag. We can leave the geese out in the cold. That goose probably wants to migrate anyway.
Day 7:
No swans a swimming for this gift. Just a Sweet Holiday set of cookie cutters.
Day 8:
The song says you should give 8 maids a milkin. But take care of the hands instead with a yummy smelling bottle of lotion.
Day 9:
Nail polish wrapped up in polka-dot cellophane. Instead of ladies dancing, you are giving them a chance to fancy up their toes.
Day 10:
Who wants 10 drummers drumming? Give them the cutest mason jar snow globe with sweet little trees and deer. One of these snowglobe kits would be such a fun gift.
Day 11:
Mini drawstring bag filled with our favorite mint holiday M & M’s. No one leaping for this day.
Day 12:
On the twelfth day of Christmas by true love gave to me 12 Pipers piping.

Can you imagine how happy this 12 days idea could make someone you know? Maybe someone who needs to be uplifted and loved this Christmas season. We are excited to deliver the 12 Days this year! The kids love getting in on it…and they LOVE being my secret elves.

I love the 12 day gift idea. I would like ideas for food only. My neighbors are elderly and they enjoy gifts of food.. I make goodies for them at Christmas and they are very appreciative. I also take them goodies during the year but not as often as I should we have sick family members and are trying to see to their needs. Would appreciate ideas for quick and easy food gifts for the elderly who do not cook. When I give them goodies I try to give homemade gifts.
