2013 Primary Theme

The LDS Church Primary theme for 2013 is I Am a Child of God. Each month focuses on a different theme and scriptures that tie into the main theme–it’s beautiful! (The Primary is what we call the children’s classes from age 3-11 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.)

A few months ago I created some 2013 Primary Posters with the monthly themes for some people to use in their Primary and I wanted to share them with our dear readers and friends as a free download! These 16×20 posters can be displayed in your Primary room or you can even use them in your own homes to reiterate the teachings with your children.

(You can click on the image to make it a little bit larger)2013-primary-posters

I created the posters in Photoshop using a variety of digital papers from Crystal Wilkerson.

I’ve packaged them all up into 2 zipped folders for you to download and print and enjoy! 🙂 The folders contain 13 posters sized 16×20 inches in JPEG format that can be printed at Costco or your favorite printer. There are two separate folders to download in order to get the full year’s worth of posters. These files are zipped, so once you download it, you will need to right click on the file and select “extract file” in order to print them.

Here are the links to download the posters:

2013 Primary Posters #1 (The Crafting Chicks)

Contains 2013 Theme, and January-June)

2013 Primary Posters #2 (The Crafting Chicks)

(Contains July-December)

I hope you enjoy these posters!

Thank you! You could crop them at Costco/printer or in Photoshop to be 8×10, sure. It might crop off part of the sides but it should still be fine.

I love these! Thanks so much for sharing them. I like to print 4×6 prints with the monthly themes and articles of faith and put them into a small photo album for my daughter to look at during the sacrament. These are perfect!

I love the idea of these posters! As a family we have made a goal to memorize all of the monthly primary scriptures in 2014. Now that we are at the begining of February I can report that all four of our children had John 3:16(January) memorized before the end of the month. I know that having a printable of the scripture displayed in our living room was a great help. I have looked and looked for all 12 of the 2014 Primary scriptures as printables to display in our home as we memorize. I have not found them. Would you be willing? I know that I’m not the only mother who would appreciate it! 🙂 Thank you for all that you do!
