DIY Cozy Car Caddy

When I saw this Cozy Car Caddy Tutorial over at the amazing  Homemade by Jill, I knew I just had to make it! I have a little guy who is obsessed with CARS! He loves to point out cars on the road and even can spot different makes and models. I thought this would be a perfect activity for church or other quiet outings, but truthfully he will play at home with it for hours. SO…if you have a little one who loves cars, this DIY Cozy Car Caddy is a must have. DIY Car Cozy Caddy | Sewing Project | Kids Activity | Quiet BagHe loves to park the cars in the garages. I love how Jill added numbers to the pockets. I have been meaning to do this. DIY Car Cozy Caddy | Sewing Project | Kids Activity | Quiet BagThis car cozy would also make a great gift! I made one for my nephew who just turned 2 and he loves it! I used some fun camouflage material and greenish-brown canvas with a felt car on the front. Here is my little guy playing with his car cozy in his favorite spot on the ottoman. There is something special about making homemade gifts for my kiddos!DIY Car Cozy Caddy | Sewing Project | Kids Activity | Quiet BagAnd now for the TIP! I would always get so annoyed when I went to look for a needle in my pin cushion and couldn’t find one because they fell down into the cushion, only to be lost forever. Well…the problem is solved my friends! Find some cute little erasers (I found these cute lemon erasers), and push the top of your needle into the eraser-and your needles will no longer get lost in the pin cushion and will be very easy to spot, and…might even protect your finger from getting poked!
