Feature Friday {Rapunzel Birthday Party}
Happy Friday! I know I am definitely ready for it to be the weekend!!
I don’t know if your kids are like mine–they are loving everything related to Rapunzel and the movie Tangled. I think we’ve watched it about 1.78 million times since it came out on DVD. 🙂
Well, if you are Rapunzel fans like our family is, then you’ll love our feature today! We wanted to share a totally fun Rapunzel birthday party one of our sweet and creative readers threw for her daughter.
Samantha, who has a darling blog called Crafty Texas Girls, thought of so many great details for this party!
A super long “Rapunzel” braid decorating the front porch to welcome party guests!
Samantha set up an area for the princesses to watch Tangled, complete with hanging lanterns,
purple chairs and streamers, and even a little chalkboard for the girls to be able to “decorate the walls”
just like Rapunzel! Love that idea!
She made sunshine banners to go along with the theme, in purple and yellow, just like the movie.
(We LOVE pennants here at The Crafting Chicks!)
Check these out! They are little Pascal party blowers!
Goodie bags with the sunshine pennants….
And last but not least, the tower cake!! It turned out so great, and I love how she surround the tower with
cupcakes with purple frosting and sprinkles and purple silk flowers! Everything a girl could want!
Here is a link to how she created this amazing birthday cake: Rapunzel Tower Cake
Doesn’t this look like a dream come true for a 5 year old girl?!? Heck, I wish I was invited to this party! 🙂 To see more photos and instructions and even links to free printables, you can visit her post about it. Samantha has a ton of other creative ideas that she shares on her blog, so be sure to hop on over to Crafty Texas Girls. You’re in for a treat. 🙂
Yay!! I am thrilled to be on your “Feature Friday”. Thank you so much for showing off my Rapunzel party. It was such a fun party, my daughter is still talking about it.
Very creative ideas! We are big fans of Rapunzel ourselves. Thanks for sharing!
