Halloween Shadow Puppets

With the days getting shorter and the weather getting cooler, I’m finding it is harder to come up with activities to keep my boys busy. Luckily, they love flashlights and have very active imaginations! So shadow puppets are working well to fill the time.

I searched for Halloween images I could cut out with my cutting machine and then hot glued them onto coffee stir sticks. Now we just turn on the flashlight, hand over the shadow puppets and enjoy our bowl of popcorn while the boys entertain us with their crazy stories.

Last year we mass produced the shadow puppets and gave to my sons pre-school friends. It was easy to do since I let my Silhouette do all the work for me, and the kids loved them!

*I use a plug-in in Adobe Illustrator that allows me to cut SVG files with my Silhouette.
