Halloween Treat Tags
I made this fun treat tag as a guest post on Modern Mom. Sometimes it seems like we are always just handing out the candy and I wanted to do something to make it a fun for some special friends.
So here’s what you’ll need:
fun Halloween paper clothes pins ribbon hot glue gun or other adhesive small jewlery sacks candy corns or other small treats black ink a print out of the Halloween sayingsStart out by hot gluing your ribbon to your clothes pins. I added these spooky spider embellishments. You could just tie another fun ribbon on the clothes pin if you can’t find a fun embellishment like these.
Next cut your paper. For the background paper I cut it to 3×6. I cut the word paper to fit so just make it to your liking.
After everything is cut, ink your edges. The messier the better on this. I think it gives it a fun spooky look.
Adhere your word tag to the background.
Fill your little treat bags.
Stick your cute little clothes pin on the card to hold the treat bag in place.
And you’re done.
Now you have a fun little treat to hand out to your friends and neighbors. I think I’m going to send my daughter with these to her preschool class.
If you enjoyed this project, make sure you stop by and see some other fun Halloween ideas we’ve cooked up.
these are SUPER CUTE and easy enough that i still have time to make them. i was wondering if you could tell me which fonts you used? thanks!
Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in CBH Digital Scrapbooking Freebies, under the Page 5 post on Oct. 28, 2011. Thanks again.
