Homemade Caramel Sauce
This is one of our favorite treats to make! Homemade Caramel Sauce. It is so yummy drizzled over vanilla ice cream…just top with sprinkles!
We made this for our ICE CREAM PARTY and it was a hit. It’s the best topping for yummy vanilla ice cream.
Add in some other toppings with a DIY Ice Cream Topping Bar.
We love dipping apples in this homemade caramel sauce too. I love that all the ingredients are easy items that we have on hand in our pantry.
Homemade Caramel Sauce Ingredients:
1 C. Butter (real butter;)
2 C. Brown Sugar Packed
1/2 C. Milk or Cream
2 tsp. Vanilla
Homemade Caramel Sauce Directions:
In a medium saucepan, bring brown sugar, butter, and milk to a boil.
Stir constantly.
After bringing to a boil, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Let cool for a few minutes.
Serve warm or let it cool in the refrigerator.
