Hello All…Hope you are all enjoying your summer!

Today I want to share my new Photo Wall with you…I am loving it…it makes me happy!

I have been changing some things in my house and I am loving neutral creams and whites with pops of color (blue and yellow)…but who isn’t right now. I’ve decided that these lighter happier colors…really do make me happy.

I found this 16 in. B at Poppy Seed Projects. They have the best wooden letters…they look like Pottery Barn.

I used a chevron vinyl stencil from Poppy Seed Projects to paint the Yellow Chevron stripes on the B. I just used a sponge brush and acrylic paints from Deco Art.

I forgot to take photos along the way…darn. But to figure out the layout was not so fun. I first made a paper template of each frame and used painters tape to attach them to the wall. I moved them around several times…and over a few hours…about ready to give up a few times:) until I found a configuration that I loved. It was easy to hang them when I found the right spot. PS…these frames are from IKEA

Last fall we took these Family Photos and luckily we got some good ones. I used Crafting Chick Kirsten’s Yellow Chair…love it! I agree when they say you should wear outfits in your family photos that tie in nicely with your home decor and colors.

My LOVE affair with yellow began with these two lamps from Target! I love passing by my family room photo wall and seeing my little ones…photos make me happy!:)

Cute! I so need to try this! Question? What is that cute fabric on the aqua/yellow pillow on the brown leather chair? Did you buy the pillow or do it yourself? I’d love to know what that fabric is if you know. 🙂

Jamie I totally bought those lamps, but I had to take them back because they were to big for my space. I still wonder around my house trying to figure out where I can put them!

I know this was posted a while ago, but I just stumbled across this post. Such a cute idea! I am wondering if you made your throw pillows. If so, where did you get the dandelion fabric? It is so cute!

I love how crisp and clean this gallery is! I love the chevron letter, too. I used letters in our great room gallery: http://www.dejongdreamhouse.com/2012/09/great-room-gallery.html
