Silhouette Heat Transfer Shirts and Apron

Someone please stop me. I think I am in love. I knew that my Silhouette was amazing, but after trying out the Heat Transfer kit, I can’t stop thinking about it. I want to put cute images on EVERYTHING! I told Nikkala about it and she thinks it might be the hook that comes with the kit. I have to tell you, that thing is so nice!

So first off I wanted to make this apron for my husband. He smokes meat and sometimes needs to wear an apron so he doesn’t get yucky meat juices on him. Now as much as he likes to don my cute aprons, I figured it was time he had something that was more him.

I hope he likes it. It’s going to be a Father’s Day gift so don’t tell him. 😉

I had some room on my heat transfer sheet so I decided to make a Mickey Mouse shirt for my baby and our upcoming trip to Disneyland.

With the Heat Transfer kit you get 5 sheets of heat transfers in 5 different colors. Since I was on a roll, I had to make my two older girls princess shirts for Disneyland.

They love them and put them right on.

Just to remind you right now Silhouette is running a promotion: 1 Silhouette CAMEO and 1 Heat Transfer Starter Kit for $269.99 (MSRP $340). This is $30 less than the CAMEO by itself!

This is what you get:

Heat Transfer Starter Kit

+

Silhouette CAMEO®

You won’t be able to find this discount on their main site. To get the bundled discount use this link and code “CHICKS”

If you already have a Silhouette CAMEO you can get the heat transfer kit for only$24.99…regular price $39.99. Just use the code “CHICKS”.

The promotion is a super deal, but you still have a chance to win one right here on The Crafting Chicks! We are giving away a heat transfer starter kit + Silhouette CAMEO!!! Oh Yeah!! Just leave a comment on Nikkala’s post.

I have been thinking I need one of these (don’t like the need..not want 🙂 ..but I am not sure I understand how they work. Can you give a bit more detail on HOW you did those. How and or where did you get your pictures to transfer and just what are the steps to do a projet like that. I am loving the things I have seen but have yet to see step by step instruction. With such a great sale price it would be a great time to buy so more information would be great. Thanks!
