Baked Apple Crisp

This apple crisp recipe is simple, quick, and perfect for busy moms who want a delicious dish without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 Honeycrisp Apples Cored and Sliced you can peel them but we leave the peel on
  • 1 C. Granulated Sugar
  • 1 C. Brown Sugar
  • 1 C. Quick Oats
  • 2 C. Flour
  • 2 Sticks Butter Softened
  • 3 t. Cinnamon
  • 3-4 T. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Whipped Topping or Vanilla Ice Cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Slice your apples and toss them in a bowl with the fresh lemon juice. Layer the apples in your baking dish. Spread evenly along the pan.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and oats in a bowl. Mix together.
  4. Add the butter with a fork or hands.
  5. Pour the mixture over the apples evenly.
  6. Bake for 45-60 minutes.
  7. Let cool and then add to the apple containers. Top with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.
  8. These make such a fun fall treat to serve at your next party or even at Thanksgiving time.
