I’ve been loving the trend of making wall art out of reclaimed wood or old pallets or barn wood–you can find awesome projects all over blogland and Pinterest using the sweet combo of paint and wood! But this time I didn’t feel like hunting down old wood and getting out tools or my stencils and paint for this project. Instead I created this lucky shamrock printable in Photoshop to look like a reclaimed wooden sign! It’s rustic and weathered and fun and quite realistic but it’s DIGITAL and it didn’t give me any splinters. 😉 Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
Here are a few close-ups:
You can print it out and Mod Podge it to a painted canvas to give it some dimension!
Or I love how it looks in a chunky frame like this one from Poppy Seed Projects. It really does look like I’ve added old wood boards behind the frame and then painted or stained or inked the shamrock and the words onto it.
I don’t decorate much for St. Patrick’s Day so this is a simple and inexpensive addition to my home for this holiday! I’m loving it.
I wanted to share this printable with you all! 🙂 To download the file which includes an 8×10 and a 16×20 digital print, click on the button below:

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails
with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove
me from that service? Bless you!

You’re going to have to go back in to your original comment and unclick the box, there isn’t a way for us to do it on our end. Thanks!
