I am the camp director for our girls camp (or Young Women Camp) for my church, which is a lot of work but a lot of fun at the same time! Part of preparing for camp includes certifying and passing off certain tasks, including some requirements for First Aid. We did our First Aid certification a few weeks ago, and to liven things up a bit I made some cute handouts to give the girls at the end of the night. Teenagers (and us old adults) like sugar.
These came together really easily. I used some small little baggies, I think these were little jewelry zipped bags but you could use whatever you have handy or can find at the store. I made the tags in Photoshop and printed them on white cardstock on my home printer, then cut them out. Grabbed a couple bags of Lifesavers candies–because First Aid Certification gives you the skills to help you be a LIFESAVER!
The tags are a little less than 2 x 3 inches in size, and the baggies were a little bit larger, just to give you an idea.
I filled the baggies with a few Lifesavers and using double sided sticky tape I attached the tag to the front of the baggie. CUTE!
I know many people have already done their YW Camps but if you haven’t yet, maybe these can help with your First Aid Certifications! Or bookmark them for next year. I actually made two different versions for you to download: One version has “YW Camp” on it, and the other version has that removed so it can be used for more general first aid certification needs. They both are sized as 8.5 x 11 inch JPEGS to make it super easy to print at home onto white cardstock. Each one comes with 12 tags.
