Hello there! I’m Laura from Inspiration for Moms and I am thrilled to be hanging with the Crafting Chicks today! I’m sharing with you an easy gift printable for the theme of twelve drummers drumming. When I think of drummers, I am reminded of one of my favorite Christmas songs…The Little Drummer Boy. So I took that song and combined it with a classic drummer boy silhouette to make a darling Little Drummer Boy Gift Tag.

Little Drummer Boy Printable Gift Tag

These tags are a great way to add a little traditional Christmas to your special gifts. And they’re perfect if you’re up at 2 am wrapping those last minute gifts and need some very creative tags. 😉 See there, I gotcha covered!

Hey everyone! I’m Kristin from Yellow Bliss Road and I am so excited to be here! A huge thank you to the Crafting Chicks for having me over today! At Yellow Bliss Road, I love to share simple & delicious recipes and fun free printables, especially around the holidays.

For my gift idea, I decided to put together two of the things I love most about Christmas – 1) Gift giving, and 2) the delicious scents of cranberry, cinnamon and citrus. Want to make your home and your neighbor’s smell like CHRISTMAS? Read on and I’ll show you how!

Christmas Stovetop Potpourri and Free Printable Gift Tags

I love to fill my home with amazing scents during the holidays, and there’s no better combination than citrus and cranberry mixed with cinnamon and spices. This is a simple recipe that you can simmer on your stovetop or in a crockpot to help fill your home with these delicious scents.

Christmas Stovetop Potpourri - This stuff smells amazing!!

All of these ingredients are combined in a small pot on the stove. Since I thought this would be a great gift idea, I created a fun printable tag to go with it. Just right click on the image above to save it to your computer, then print as many as you need.

Christmas Potpourri Tag

Just place the ingredients in a jar or gift bag. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t easy getting that orange in there so I’d suggest choosing a small orange, or slicing it and placing it in a ziploc bag before adding it to your jar. You also want to place the spices in a small bag so they dont just fall to the bottom. I simply cut the corner of a ziploc bag, poured the spices in, then tied it with a small piece of twine.

For the top, I just cut a circle out of a brown paper lunch bag and placed it under the ring of the mason jar. I then added a “To” and “From” just in my own handwriting. I attached the tag with some twine.

I love how fresh and rustic this gift is, and I love that it’s not another food gift!

Thanks again for letting me visit!

It’s early November so I know we all have the best intentions when it comes to making gifts but if by chance, you’re like me, and find yourself needing a quick Christmas gift in about a month and a half, this Rudolph Lip Balm gift is for you! My name is Vanessa (Tried & True) and I’m so happy to be sharing this super easy DIY Rudolph Christmas Gift with all you lovely Crafty Chicks! Thanks for having me!

First things first, you’re going to need the “Rudolph Easy Christmas Gift” free printable (click over to my site to download the file.) After you’ve printed it out, trim around the edges, apply glue to the back, and stick in place on a piece of foam core. Use a craft knife to remove the nose section and insert an EOS Summer Fruit (or any other red variety) lip balm.

Technically, that’s all you have to do. How easy was that?! If you want, you can put the card in a clear cellophane bag with a little bit of baker’s twine and decorations. It’s a super quick way to add that finishing touch to the gift!

Hey friends and readers of the adorable Crafting Chicks!  I am Pam from Over the Big Moon and I am excited to share with you this Redbox Neighbor Gift Idea!  This idea actually came to me in the early hours of the morning, after being up all night with my daughter.  My poor Dylan girl had been screaming her head off for the previous 5 hours (her ear drum ended up bursting) and I was beyond exhausted and as I laid down I glanced at the Redbox case that was laying on my dresser and *BING* the idea hit me!

Both my blog partner, Lisa, and I are busy wives, moms, bloggers, housekeepers, PTA helpers, involved in our churches, taxi drivers, etc and so we LOVE SIMPLE!  But, when the idea is simple, affordable and memorable then we have a win-win-win, which makes us beyond happy!  So, I was super excited a few weeks ago when this idea popped in my head!

What you need:

Printable Gift Tags (printable below)
Redbox Promo Codes (link to purchase below)
Microwave Popcorn Packages

After you have the Gift Tags all printed and signed then you just need to write in your Promo Codes!  Here is how you go about obtaining them!

Redbox allows you to purchase them on their website in bundles of 5, 10, 20 or 50 under their Redbox Gifts section (link at the bottom of the page).  You order them online and they are emailed. So, you just enter your own email address in the recipient space and you’ll receive an email with all the codes listed!

Here is a sample of the email you will receive!

In case you didn’t look closely, I’ve got 5 FREE promo codes in the above confirmation that are up for grabs to the first people that see them!  Don’t forget that you can always reserve a movie online!! 😉  Enjoy!

Now, back to the gift!  After you get all your gift tags completed, then just attach them to a package of microwave popcorn!  If you purchase the microwave popcorn in bulk, then you can get them for about $.50 each (or less).  So, the total cost for the gift, including the printing of the Gift Tag would still be under $2.00!!

If you have some people on your street that you don’t really know, but want to be a good neighbor, I think it would still be fun to just attach the Gift Tag to your families Christmas Card!

If you want to make the gift a little nicer, then you could also include a 2-Liter Soda, a bag of candy and even some popcorn containers!  The options are endless!

Now, get going, by downloading your Redbox Neighbor Gift Tags below!

A few years ago I shared how our family does the 12 Days of Christmas each year for some neighbors that are elderly and alone for the Holidays.

In that post I shared the poems my mom wrote for each package.  But this year I took it up a notch and used Crystal Wilkerson’s Be Merry kit to make some printable tags for you.  I hope you enjoy them.

There are 18 printable tags so you can have some extras or just print out the ones you want. 🙂

One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is the 12 Days of Christmas.  For as long as I can remember, my mom has been making up fun little packages of 12 Days gifts for widows or widowers.  She would drive up to 40 miles to deliver these packages, most the time not even knowing the person who was recieiving them, just finding out that they needed Christmas cheer.

We have kind of done this on and off for a few years, but decided to pick this up last year as a family and delivered one bag full of fun gifts to a single lady who doesn’t have family near.  It was so exciting to drop the bag off and run and just know that she was going to have a fun surprise awaiting her each night til Christmas.  This year we are going to deliever to her again and two other elderly couples in our neighborhood.  We can’t wait.  It is such a great thing to teach my young daughters that the real joy in Christmas comes from giving and not receiving.

So here is how you can do the 12 Days of Christmas.

Gather 12 gifts for each person.  Some ideas are:

  • Holiday hand towels
  • Small box of chocolates
  • Holiday note paper
  • Holiday pen
  • Holiday mug with hot chocolate
  • Small holiday decor
  • Christmas story
  • A holiday place-mat
  • Small nativity (Nik’s block nativity would be SO fun)
  • Candle
  • Ornament
  • Snow globe

Basically, I go to the dollar store and find anything that I could use.  Target also has a fantastic dollar section where I found most of these things.  I also will buy some things after Christmas and place them in my Christmas totes to store them for next year.  Then I am ahead of the game with at least a few items. 🙂  You will also want to buy a large Christmas bag to place all the presents in.

Next you will want to wrap your presents.  Make sure you know who is getting what if you are doing more than one person, so that you don’t duplicate presents to someone.

My mom has written some fun rhymes for each day.  She said that I can share these with you.  It is a Word document and you can make a fun tag with them or do whatever works for you.  Place these on each present and place them all in your sack.

Take the presents to the lucky recipient, ring the bell and run!  You will be surprised at how exciting and happy you feel!

Now, this isn’t just for people you don’t know.  You could also do a fun 12 Days for your kiddos, your hubby (I’m sure those husbands need a reminder of how much we love and appreciate them), parents, grandparents.  You wouldn’t have to do these in secret.  Just hide the presents somewhere you know they would find them, like in the car for your husband, in your kids dresser.  You could have a lot of fun with this.

I hope this helps you feel the spirit of giving this season.  Let us know how you go about teaching your kids about service during this season.  We <3 to hear your ideas!!

Merry Christmas!
