DIY Birthday Banner

I wanted to make a little DIY Birthday Banner this month . I was going to sew one, but since that would be too tricky and time consuming, I thought I would digi scrap one. I used the cookie cutter tool in photoshop to cut out the rounded corner squares and circles. I just made one of each and used them as a template to finish the words. I printed them 5×5 and then mounted them on card stock. I used scalloped scissors to make the cute edge. I strung the letters together and added cute ribbon in between each letter.

I also used the Autumn Medley kit from Shabby Princess for this project.

I am thinking of making a Halloween one now. It was a fun and quick project.

  1. Ok. I know this is serious stalking now. I’m wondering where you live because I totally think you should start a craft club. I would pay to come and have you show us how to make these cute things! I’d even love to host it. Maybe you already have one….I’m rambling–I think I should head to bed.

  2. So darling. That’s so funny because I made a thanksgiving banner out of that exact same kit but haven’t posted it yet!! Great minds think alike. 🙂
