Burlap Bunny Place Settings
The snow has finally melted and I’m ready for spring! Easter is a just a few weeks away so I wanted to share these cute ideas for simple place settings for your Easter brunch or dinner table.
I found this burlap at Hobby Lobby. It’s tightly woven and has threads of gold running through it. I’m pretty picky about using burlap around food because it can be so messy and sometimes smells off. This is what I’d consider higher end burlap (if there is such a thing?) I brought home 1/3 of a yard for $2 and I’m pretty sure I can get well over 20 of these napkin rings out of it. If you are looking at hosting a large crowd, this will not break the bank.
You’ll need 2 8″ strips of fabric 2″ wide.
Cut one strip in half and round for the 2 ears.
Add a pleat at the bottom and add a drop of hot glue to keep in place.
Fold and hot glue the long piece in half.
Hot glue the ears on the long strip and add a small piece of velcro to the end.
Spray paint wooden eggs gold. Once dry add your guests names using a Chalk Ink marker. Chalk Ink easily wipes off so if you misspell or need extra practice writing on curved eggs, like I do, you’ll want to have one of these in your aresenal.
