Creamy Caramel Apple Dip
One of my favorite Autumn treats are the fresh apples. And nothing goes better with apples than caramel. Add some cream cheese and I am one happy girl. I got this yummy recipe from my husband’s family and it has become a staple in our house. I love to whip it up and take it to a party, or just to a neighbor for a fun surprise.
Here’s what you’ll need to make it.
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar 1/4 Cup Sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 8 oz soften cream cheese (I use the less fat kind and it seems to be even creamier)Throw everything in a bowl and mix together until creamy. I have seen some people even throw in crushed up toffee candy bars for a fun crunch.
Serve with some yummy apples and you are all set!
I’m guest posting today on Modern Mom’s Crafternoon. Come see what spooky treat I whipped up over there!
Add toffee chips or chocolate toffee chips from the baking section. Makes it sooooo much better!
Another good dip for apples is whipping some Greek yogurt and peanut butter – very creamy.
This dip sounds delish! I can’t wait to serve it to my apple-loving bunch!
I made this today and it was yummy! Thanks for sharing.
Made this over the weekend & it was a huge hit. There were demands for more for tonight as we are getting ready for the festivities.
Thanks for this simple recipe! I may add chopped pecans on the top for look and crunch when I try this out tomorrow.
I’m all over this. For realsies, it looks wonderful!
