Baked Cupcakes in Yellow Cupcake Liners

Yellow Buttercream Frosting

24 Marshmallows (Optional)

Yellow Sugar Sprinkles

Sugar Pearls

Start by baking your choice of cupcake. We picked chocolate because it’s delicious, but yellow cake would work really well too. While your cupcakes cool, download and print the Free Beauty and the Beast Cupcake Topper.

Cut out each individual template and tape a toothpick onto the back of each one.

Make your large batch of buttercream frosting and add yellow food coloring to make it nice and golden. Use a frosting bag fitted with a large closed star tip to start icing.

To make the Belle skirt tall and full, you are going to need a lot of frosting! To help you conserve your frosting you can use a giant marshmallow. The marshmallow took up a lot of space in the center of the gown. Place the marshmallow in the center of your cupcake with a little dab of frosting on the bottom to hold it in place. You by no means need to use the marshmallow, but if you don’t, you’ll want double your batch of frosting.

Frost around the marshmallow to make your ruffled Belle dress. Next comes one of the most fun parts of baking – sprinkles! You can also add some sugar pearls around the dress for a really royal look.

Now to add Belle to the dress with our free Beauty and Beast cupcake topper. Place your cutout on top of the cupcake and voila! You have your very own Belle cupcake!
