Glitter Slime Recipe Without Borax
Slime isn’t a new thing, we have a Neon Slime Recipe and even a recipe for slime that doesn’t use glue . There was the whole borax debacle that put a damper on slime, so here’s a Glitter Slime Recipe without borax.
Glitter Slime Recipe Without Borax
Kids find slime to be so entertaining, and as long as they keep it far away from my carpet and furniture I think it is a pretty fun activity too. Slime is a great sensory tool. Not only does the slime-y feel expose kids to a weird sensation they aren’t used to, but by adding different textures to the slime it creates a whole new sensory experience. If you are looking for more sensory tools see our post about creating a therapy gym at home.
Glitter Slime Ingredients (these are affiliate links):
- Glitter Glue
- Laundry Starch
- Container
- Glitter Pom Poms
Empty 2 jars of glue into the container. I mixed the purple and silver.
Add laundry starch 1/4 cup at a time and stir until the glue starts to stiffen and turn into slime. If it gets a little too stiff add a little contact solution.
Spread slime on the counter and add glitter pom poms.
Fold the pom poms into the slime and let your kids get hours of fun out of this glitter mess!

How do you store your slime?
Sometime my kids store it in ziplock baggies and other times they will use some plastic storage containers.
