It’s been on my mind
a lot lately actually. Friends and family members stepping up to support my kids.
And when they love and support my kids, they show me how I can show up for others in my life.
And honestly, I feel so blessed.
There’s the friend on the walking trail who helped soothe a broken teenage heart. She knew just what to say.
A friend who was able to calm down my senior in high school that was stressing about what classes will be best for college preparedness.
Someone who drops off treats and food after wisdom teeth have been removed.
Family who makes mashed potatoes and gravy when the wisdom toothless teen wanted something soft to eat.
And all of this matters because
every adult who has a positive relationship with my children, is another adult in their corner.
Another person supporting, cheering, providing love and advice.
A touch point is what I call it.
And life as a teen is hard. Knowing you have someone else on your side can make all the difference.
It has for this mom.

I buy the bananas and hope

I can still remember the day
when my mom told me to “fold the towels the right way.”
I had no idea what she was talking about. But I’ve since learned and feel the same way she does. 😆
The triple fold is the way to go. They stack so nicely and look so pretty.

Grab your fresh peaches, and make up our quick Bavarian cream recipe. Layer and you have one of our favorite desserts 🤤
Bavarian Cream
3.4 oz instant French Vanilla pudding
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
Mix in mixer for 5 minutes
Layer in a cup starting with the Bavarian cream then fresh sliced peaches. Top it all with whip cream and a peach slice.

The cutest patriotic shirt you’ve ever seen!
My girls and I spotted this cute shirt from @melanie_locke and knew we had to make it!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:
🪡Embroidery hoop, large is best
🪡Strips of red fabric, we used 3 different ones
🪡A rectangle of blue fabric
🪡White thread
🪡Needle
🪡Different ribbons or lace
🪡White tshirt
I’ll get measurements up soon.
Find the center of your tshirt and place the embroidery hoop on it. Lay out your flag, and begin hand stitching the strip strips. Once they are on, stitch on the white ribbons. Then finish with the blue rectangle. You can add stars if you want. We love the look without.
