I’m excited to share a fun and simple dessert idea and party food! We love taking these mini chocolate Mousse Pies to holiday parties and gathering.s
I love how cute they are. They are bite sized and the perfect size for a little holiday party treat.
We love adding fruit to the top of these delicious morsels.
Place on a pretty holiday tray to take to a family for friend party.
Mini Chocolate Mousse Pie Ingredients:
3 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips (or for a sweeter version use 1/2 C. Semisweet Chocolate Chips and 1/2 C. Milk Chocolate Chips)
1/4 C. Sugar
4 Egg Yolks
Mini Pastry Pie Shells
Raspberries or other Fruit Toppings
Mini Chocolate Mousse Pie Directions:
1- Mix together the egg yolks and sugar until thick.
2- Heat 1 C. of the whipping cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir as you heat. Gently stir in the egg yolk and sugar mix over low heat. Stir constantly until mixture thickens.
3-Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted.
4-Store the mousse in the refrigerator one hour until chilled.
5- Place in pastry piping bag and pipe into mini pastry shells.
6-Add a raspberry, or other fruit topping to the top of the mini mousse pie.

Are these pie crusts muffin size or the actual mini size and where do you find the small pie crust like that??
Have seen the small graham cracker pie crust but these crusts that you are using look unbaked. Other than that, they look delicious
Where do you find mini pastry pie shells?
The ingredients 3 cups heavy whipping cream. However, the directions only address 1 cup. Can you clarify please?
