Paper Fireworks
Materials
- Paper Fireworks Free Printable
- Colors/Scissors/Tape
- Streamers (I used a small strip of Oly-Fun)
- Straw
Step One. Print out the Paper Fireworks Free Printable on regular printer paper. I made most of the designs somewhat generic just in case you want to make these all Summer long. Also included a blank one just in case any of your kids really want to customize it!
Step Two. Have your kids color in the designs they want. As I mentioned above, I left the majority of the printable neutral enough to use year round!
Step Three. Cut a strip of Oly-Fun (or any other light material) into fringe and tape in place at the bottom of the paper firecracker.
Step Four. Fold paper in half and tape edges shut. You’re going to want to make sure everything is pretty airtight or your firework might be a dud!
Happy 4th of July!
All that’s left to do is slip the paper firecracker over a straw and blow! The paper will fly through the air to the sounds of glee from your kids! My boys had so much fun with these that they wanted to make a few custom ones to look like rockets. They were entertained for at least half an hour (which is a lifetime when it comes to little kids!) This would be a great project for a bored afternoon, rainy day inside, or even at a 4th of July party to entertain the kids. Hope you all enjoy!

Love this site and the idea of this paper firework. Sadly, I can’t find a link that works for the printable. Thank you for sharing your time and talents.
Same here, I have opened in different browsers as well. I have not been able to find the link for the free printable
