Personalized Decor – Sweet Wall Words
I have said it before and I will say it again – I love personalized decor! I especially love it in my kids rooms. I think that it makes them feel really special when their space is all about them.
I did this word wall on the wall above my daughters daybed. My Kylie Joan & Lily Pearl share a room, so I wanted something that celebrated both of them.
This project was so simple and cheap. I think it turned out so cute. 🙂You will need:
-Different sized pieces of wood (I bought mine already cut in packages at Hobby Lobby)
-Coordinating scrapbook paper
-Mod Podge
-Spray adheisive
-Vinyl wordsFirst, I traced each of the wood pieces onto the back of my paper and cut it. Then I used my spray adheisive(love the stuff) to attach my paper to the wood boards. Be sure to spray both the back of your paper and your wood board so that it will stick really well.Next, I Mod Podged my scrapbook paper on my board. The last thing I did was add my vinyl words to my boards. This was my favorite part. 🙂 I let my Kylie pick the words that described her and her baby sister. I love that she picked ‘shine’ and ‘sparkle’. So cute!
I printed my vinyl lettering with my awesome Sillhouette. I LOVE it!
I completely enjoy looking at the sweet faces of my gorgeous girls, so I printed some close-up photos of them. I printed them 12×12 at Costco. They do a great job!
I am in love with how it turned out! Simple and sweet.

This is a great idea, I think it would be good to one that said Family and then put tag words off of that too. Thanks for the starting point!
This is such a cute idea!! It would be so neat to put up words around my kids pictures that describe their personalities or their strengths. Love it!
Love this idea! We’re working on my son’s “big boy” room & I may have to do this!
I absolutely love the project that you made with the Silouette! Very fun and so sweet! The photos are really great printed 12X12. Didn’t know you could order that size. Thanks for sharing!
