Simple St. Patrick’s Day Ideas {free printable}

Simple St. Patrick's Day Ideas - Free Printable Earlier this week I shared some fun St. Patrick’s Day ideas to do with your families on a local show Fresh Living. We always have a lot of fun there! 🙂 For those of you who missed the segment on Monday here is the link to the video: {embarrassed} http://connect2utah.com/news/features/fresh-living/family/stories/vid_17.shtml Simple St. Patrick's Day Ideas - Free Printable And my Instagram pic on set. 🙂 These are way easy and inexpensive and things you can put together quickly in time for St. Patrick’s Day coming up. Simple St. Patrick's Day Craft - Mini Pot of Gold

Mini Pots of Gold!

All you need is some mini flower pots–I found mine 3 for a dollar at the Dollar Tree. Paint them black. Take some pipe cleaners in the rainbow colors and bend them into a rainbow shape and put them into the flower pots. Fill pots with gold candies like Rolos, Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Werther’s, or even some Skittles, etc. Simple St. Patrick's Day Craft - Mini Pot of Gold For a fun twist I also used black chalkboard spray paint last year and wrote our kids’ names on their own little pots. I hid them around the house and they were so excited to find their own personalized goodies! 🙂 Simple St. Patrick's Day Ideas - Free Printable

Rainbow Treat Bag w/ tag

I found these colorful treats at the grocery store–they are Airheads Xtremes Rainbow Berry Sour Candy, what a mouthful! 🙂 Less than $1 and you can stick them in a cello bag and top it with a tag! I used a scallop circle punch to cut out the tags. Simple St. Patrick's Day Ideas - Free Printable

“LUCKY to have you” 8×10 printable

I thought this would be fun to print out and put in an 8×10 frame, then you can put them in your kids’ rooms and write down things you love about them each day. (Use a bistro chalk marker on the glass, they work better than a dry erase marker.) I like the idea of making our kids feel special and that this doesn’t involve candy! 🙂   Simple St. Patrick's Day Ideas - Free Printable[wpdm_file id=2]

We hope you have fun with your kids! What fun things do you do on St. Patrick’s Day? We’d love to know! Our family likes to have a green meal or two, and this year we might play some Lucky Bingo and have a Lucky Treasure Hunt courtesy of Crafting Chick Jamie! 🙂
