St. Patrick’s Day Hair Tie Cards are a fun gift idea. Keep your friends from getting pinched by giving them these fun St. Patrick’s Day themed hair ties.
I love finding fun ways for my kids to get into each holiday that comes by. Lucky for me St. Patrick’s Day is really easy. Just find something fun and green and you’re all set. 🙂
One of my new favorite things is making these hair tie cards for them to give some elastic hair ties to their friends. They loved taking the Valentine’s Day Hair Tie Cards to their ballet class, so we thought taking St. Patrick’s Day hair ties would be just as fun. Especially since they have to wear pink and black to ballet, the green hair ties will be that little bit of needed green so they don’t get pinched.
Here’s what you need to make St. Patricks Hair Ties:
- Free Printable below: Printables are property of The Crafting Chicks, LLP. Personal use only. Not for commercial or resell.
- White Cardstock
- St. Patricks Day Elastic
- Paper cutter or scissors
- Color Printer, or send to your favorite copy shop.
I’ve included the instructions for the hair ties on the printable so you just print it out and you are all set.
Begin by printing out the printable onto the White Cardstock. Then cut out each hair tie card.
Next, measure out your elastic, cut and tie. Then place on the card.
I loved this cute St. Patricks Day Elastic variety pack I found on Amazon. Just perfect for this project.
These St. Patrick’s Day Hair Tie Cards make the perfect gift for friends, teachers, or youth leaders to give away. My girls can’t wait to hand them out.
Who would you give these to?

These are so easy and I swear mark up is at least 500% at the store. It’s about $5 for 3 to 4 and for $2 to $3 you can make approximately 40 to 50 and in the colors you like!!!! Plus they don’t pull your hair out and can be washed. You can also make them the size you need, if you have extra thick hair or just need a small one for tying off a braid! Also you don’t need any time at all…..it’ll take more time to go purchase the elastic! HAPPY TYING!
I agree! So easy and actually kinda therapeutic to make if you ask me.
Thanks for the tutorial I love it! I had no idea they were so easy to make. I was able to download the card but was wondering if there was a way to edit it from Pony Up to something else? I can download it but I can’t edit it. Thanks again.
Do you make and sell these? If not, you certainly should! Very cute.
We don’t sell any products that aren’t digital. But thank you for the compliment.
