I picked up pineapples from Kroger (Smith’s) for $.99 a piece. Here’s a little tip: if you buy produce by the case they’ll give you a 10% discount, plus boxes are a lot easier to carry than loose pineapples.

Download and print off a tag below and attach it to the pineapple. You can tie on with ribbon or string, or even use a glue stick to attach your Mele Kalikiamaka tag right to the top of the pineapple tag. It’s so easy to give a pineapple Christmas gift! Thanks to some Bing Crosby lyrics it all ties together so well!

There are 2 versions of the tag. On the second, I added a light box at the bottom you can write on with a pen, or there’s the all blue version if you want to use a metallic pen or know your way around Photoshop and want to add the text.

  1. What a cute idea! We just got back from Hawaii a couple of days ago so this idea is PERFECT for us! I really hope I can find the same killer deal on pineapples tomorrow. We usually pay at least $5 a piece for them here. I’ll be checking Smith’s in the morning!
