“Decomposers” Halloween Decor Prints
Hello there! It’s Bettijo here from Paging Supermom to share a spooky Halloween decor idea. Every year I host an All Hallow’s Eve dinner party. It’s not a traditional Halloween costume party, but rather it’s a formal sit-down dinner, and guests always wear black or dark colors. I love a good theme and go all out — go check out photos of my past Halloween parties.
One year I did a “Ghost Music” themed party. I covered an entire wall with old sheet music and even invited an invisible instrumental trio to serenade my guests.
One of my favorite details were these “Decomposers” that I created to hang on the wall. These zombie-inspired busts of Mozart and Beethoven were so much fun to create by morphing together in Photoshop, some classic drawings of the composers and skulls.
It seemed like a shame for these spooky faces to only get used once, so I sized them down to a more manageable size that I framed and placed on my piano. Aren’t these prints the perfect Halloween piano decor?
TO MAKE “Decomposers” Halloween Decor Prints:
Download the free printable Decomposers Halloween art prints and print on cardstock or at your favorite photo center. The free download is setup to print both 4×6 or 5×7 prints. Frame as desired; I used my favorite black Ribba frames from IKEA. Of course you can also get the free download for the oversized Decomposers prints, and they’re really inexpensive to print as black and white engineering prints at your local copy center. I printed both of my huge prints for $8 total.
There really is something sinister about the unyielding, tick-tack of a metronome, and a black metronome completes this chilling Halloween piano display.
