Fall Porch Ideas for Small Porches
This post was sponsored by Michaels and may contain affiliate links but all opinions are my own.
I LOVE the fall. Love the soup, love the smells, and love the beautiful colors of the season. I have always wanted to decorate my porch for fall, but felt limited because my porch is on the small side.
I decided that I needed something so I went to Michaels and shopped away and I’m in love with how everything turned out.
The first thing I looked for was a new fall wreath. They are on sale right now and there are TONS to choose from. I loved this one with the fall colors, leaves, acorns and pinecones.
I was excited to use my teal post. I love how it works with the orange of the pumpkins and the colors in the wreath. This is on my porch year-round but I love the way it looks all dressed up for Autumn. I just added some fake pumpkins and a strand of fall leaves to finish this area off.
Just behind my teal post, I added this wooden crate which I stained. I loved the idea of adding in a lantern. This was the perfect fit for this area. And of course, add a pumpkin and some fall leaves! The new fall welcome mat was perfect too!
On the other side of my door I added another crate tipped on the side with more pumpkins and leaves.
I got a small bail of hay and threw on another fun pumpkin and matching lantern with more leaves and a pumpkin in front. I love the mixture of textures, colors and height with this one. Then my barn wood sign sitting next to it is perfection in my opinion.

I love these, they are all so simple yet they look so good. This is such a great season for decorating and having fun with your porch!
i keep coming back to this, i need to do something to my porch!
Beautiful setup, Gave me lots of inspiration. Did you make your teal post, if so what materials did you use? I am not having much luck finding the post in that shape, any suggestions you could pass along would be greatly appreciated. I am very excited to decorate 🙂
I actually purchased the post from The Urban Post (https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheUrbanPost). She uses old bed posts for them. It’s one of my favorite things ever!
What is the size of the crate in picture with the pumpkins and lanterns on the porch?
