Styled 3x: Geode Bookends
Stacey Risenmay from Not Just a Housewife invited us to participate in her Styled 3x series. Styled 3x happens when Stacey sends 3 different bloggers the same object and they each put their own twist on the object. She sent me these beautiful geode bookends. Geodes fascinate me, and these are a beautiful shade of blue.
Geode Bookends
I thought and thought about what kind of spin I could put on them, but when it came down to it I decided their best purpose would be to actually be bookends. Super creative over here people.
A geode isn’t something I would ever think to order for myself, so I’m really glad Stacey chose them! There is something to be said about having a rock in your house. It’s a chunk of Earth right in your home! Don’t get me wrong, my kids bring home pockets full of rocks, but never something pretty that I want to put on display.
They are the perfect size for my Chatbook collection. Our Chatbooks hang out on top of a dresser under our TV and my kids spend hours looking at them. Chatbooks, in case you haven’t heard of them, are an app on your phone that let you print Instagram or other photos. I love that they are a subscription so as soon as I’ve taken enough photos to fill a book it is printed and ship straight to my door. It’s a zero thought / extra effort way of scrapbooking.
I used to try and keep the books organized by number but my kids have zero respect for my OCD tendency so I gave up, but now seeing them out of order is killing me!
I’m curious as to how you would style geodes in your home. Be sure and check out how the other ladies styled theirs: Stacey from Not Just a Housewife and Corey from Sawdust to Stitches.

We LOVE our Chatbooks – and I loved seeing how you styled them! 🙂
