Finish the Phrase is such a fun game. In a way it reminds me of the speed round of Family Feud. You get a word and have to come up with something to go with it and hope your answer is the one on the answer key. Believe me, there are fun time ahead with this game and possibly some unexpected hilarious results.

Directions for Thanksgiving Finish the Phrase Printable:

Step 1:

Download and print out your download. Or send the download to your local copy shop. Each dowload is a high resolution pdf.

Step 2:

Give each player a copy of the free printable game, along with a pencil.

Step 3:

Here are the detailed instructions:

Select someone to be the answer key. That person will go through the printable and fill it out the blanks with the answer that makes most sense to them. Make sure they don’t give away any clues. This answer key becomes the correct answer for the game. No other answer key is included.

You can set a timer for 3-5 minutes, depending on the ages of those playing. Sometime we set a timer and other times we just play. It’s up to you. This game has flexibility.

Everyone will answer on their own paper. Every phrase you have that matches the answer key you get a point for. The most points wins!
