Thanksgiving Turkey Napkin Holder Craft

I love to have a fun little craft for anyone that may stop by my house early on Thanksgiving day. These cute Turkey Napkin Holders are the perfect craft for anyone to do.

I also love having helpers do anything to get our table ready. When my kids make something to display, they are more eager to help. So it’s a win-win situation for me.

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Thanksgiving Turkey Napkin Holder Craft

Craft Rolls
Self-adhesive googly eyes
construction paper
glue sticks

Step 1:

Using scissors, cut the craft roll in half. You may have to clean up the edges a bit after to make them even.

Step 2:

Be sure to download the Turkey Napkin Holder Printable! Trace the feather template onto colored construction paperand then cut out the feathers. You could also print the template directly onto construction paper.

Step 3:

Using a glue stick, glue the construction paper feathers onto the back of the craft roll. Place them about half-way up the craft roll so the feathers show. You can space them out and layer them a bit.

Step 4:

Now add a beak to your turkey! Fold a small section of orange construction paper in half. Then cut out a triangle shape. There’s your beak. Glue it on with a glue stick.

Step 5:

Every turkey needs a waddle (the red hanging down part). Grab a piece of red construction paper and cut out a squiggly shape. I have cut out a million of these, each one different. They end up looking great on the turkey. Glue this on with a glue stick, or just tuck under your beak.

Step 6:

Eyes are next. I love using these self-adhesive googly eyes. They make kids crafts so easy. Just choose the size you want and place them on your craft roll.

Step 7:

Once you have your Thanksgiving Turkey Napkin Rings finished, all you need to do is add the napkins. This is a fun addition to any Thanksgiving table!
