Valentine’s HedBanz
Have a blast at your next Valentine’s Day party with our version of Valentine’s HedBanz. Find the free printables on this post.
HedBanz* has quickly become a family favorite at our house, so I made a Valentine’s version to play for Family Night this week.
How to Play Valentine’s HedBanz
If you aren’t familiar with the game here’s a quick break down. You wear awesome plastic headbands that have a slit to hold the card. Without looking at the card you insert it into the slit, and then by asking questions you try to figure out what you are. Kind of like 20 questions.
Only instead of 20 questions, you are racing against a timer. If you get it before your time is up you pick another card and keep asking until your time expires. Then it’s the next person’s turn. When it comes around to you again, you pick up asking questions where you left off before.
This would be a fun game to play at a class party. If you don’t have the game, I bet you could make elastic headbands, like the elastic hair ties only larger, and they would work just as well. Place the card between your forehead and the elastic to hold it in place.
The download contains 2 pages of cards, and 1 page to be printed on the back of the cards. Cause we need all the help we can get to keep us from cheating around here!
Check out my post on printing printables for answers to common problems. And, as always, I recommend printing on matte photo paper* for best results.

I love the valentines hedbanz idea. I was going to use it for my son’s class party, but I am having trouble downloading the cards. Is there any way you can e-mail it to me?? Thank you so much!!!!
I sent you an email earlier today but you never know if it goes to junk mail. I have tried all morning to print both the st patricks day and valentines day with no luck. Could you email both files to me. I think they are absolutely adorable and will be perfect for my sons class parties!!
I love the valentines hedbanz game idea, however I can not get the download file to open. Is anyone able to email me the file?
DO you get an error message when you try to open?
I’m able to download this without a problem but I can’t seem to print it. It only prints page 1 and page one only prints the top left corner of the page. I’ve tried several things with the same results. Can you help?
What program are you using to print? Adobe Acrobat?
Can’t get the download to work either. Earlier today it started to download, but was slower than molasses. Said it was going to take over an hour (I have a fast connection, should have taken seconds.) Now, I clicked download and it’s stuck on this page, but won’t open. http://www.mediafire.com/download/ag5xeu218408681/valentine_hedbanz_all.pdf
